Getting Here and Around
Honningsvåg Airport, 30 km (18.6 mi) south of North Cape, has direct flights from Tromsø and Kirkenes, operated by Widerøe. Hurtigruten, the ship company, calls at Honningsvåg on its way to Kirkenes from Bergen, and then again on the way back. The company Connex FFR runs the daily bus departures from the airport to the North Cape, but all tickets are booked through the Nordkapp tourist office so you'll need to contact them directly.
The E69 goes all the way to the North Cape, with a 6.8-km (4-mi) long underwater tunnel linking the mainland with the island of Magerøya. There is a toll to go through the tunnel (NKr 140). The North Cape is 210 km (130 mi) north of Alta, and the journey from one to the other takes about three hours.
