On a busy street that's full of fish restaurants, Gambrinus stands alone, with more than 70 years of experience in serving the finest fish and shellfish. In a series of somber, dark-paneled dining rooms, and even sitting at the bar, you're led through the intricacies of the day's seafood specials by waiters who know their stuff. Prawns, lobster, and crab are always available; seasonal choices such as sea bream, sole, and sea bass are offered grilled or garnished with clam sauce. There are meat dishes, too, but they're rather beside the point here.
