Items from the sea figure prominently on the menu and in the restaurant itself: there's a huge mosaic of an underwater scene. Some have complained that Solmar is resting on its laurels, but the cooking is more hit than miss. In winter the restaurant entices diners with wild boar or venison. There are also cheaper snacks available in the adjacent café, where locals pop in throughout the day for coffee and cakes.
