Porto has a good network of buses and trams, run by Sociedade dos Transportes Colectivos do Porto (STCP). The tourist office can provides a bus map. The Metro do Porto—actually a light rail service—has five lines that converge at the Trindade stop. The English-language Transport Guide from the tourist office has full information; they'll also sell you a Porto Card, which is valid for public transportation and entrance to 21 city sights, and discounts for others, during 24 hours (EUR 7.50), 48 hours (EUR 11.50), or 72 hours (EUR 15.50).
