The proprietor of this hotel also owns a gallery in Berlin, and he has covered the hotel walls with contemporary Russian artwork. At the edge of a park and away from the urban crush, this hotel can make you feel as if you're in the country. Some rooms overlook the park and the hotel beer garden, which has live German music and a weekend brunch. Guest rooms are clean and basic, and breakfast is included in the price. Twenty minutes by car from Red Square, Arte is far from public transportation, and necessitates a 20-minute walk or a trolley ride from the metro station.
