Schoolhouse B&B Review

Just outside the center of town, this solid, dependable B&B offers superior accommodations that are a bit unusual for Aberdeenshire. Renovated using ideas the owners picked up from their travels in Sri Lanka and India, the huge rooms have plenty of extra space. Look for tasteful maple and bamboo floors, Sri Lankan wall hangings, and large beds with the softest sheets. The lounge has a vast fireplace and oversize sofas. Cathy Low, the owner, can also prepare evening meals; she is a well-known storyteller in the region, so prepare to be enthralled.
