Getting Here and Around

From Oban, follow the A828 around Loch Creran and take the left turn to Port Appin just beyond Tynribbie. Continue for just over 2 mi to the old pier. From the port, the passenger ferry runs to the island of Lismore throughout the year; steamers once plied the waters of Loch Linnhe, but today the largest boats here are those taking workers to the quarries of Kingairloch.
