Here you can stroll through a long glen glimpsing the wild ridges that beckon so many outdoors enthusiasts. To get here from Brodick, pass the Isle of Arran Heritage Museum and find the junction where the String Road cuts across the island. Drive a short way up the String Road and turn right at the signpost into the glen. The road soon becomes undrivable; park the car and wander on foot.
