Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Restaurant

Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Restaurant Review

The original restaurant in a British chain, this well-regarded seafood spot 10 mi northeast of Inverary sits surrounded by hills at the head of Loch Fyne, with beautiful views in both directions. Polished wood, and paintings and sketches with references to the sea and fishing help set the mood. Dishes are generally simple and unpretentious; try the seafood risotto or the scallops with pea puree and pancetta, and don't miss the oysters. Note that the restaurant closes at 7:30 in summer.
