Isle of Gigha Review

Barely 7 mi long, Gigha is sheltered in a frost-free, sea-warmed climate between Kintyre and Islay, and has sandy beaches and rich wildlife. The island was long favored by British aristocrats as a summer destination. In 2002, the community purchased the island and now runs it, and the official Web site provides comprehensive information, including places to stay.
