Glenmore Lodge. About 6 mi east of Aviemore in Cairngorms National Park, Glenmore Lodge is your best bet for trying a new activity or enhancing your outdoor skills. Take your pick from the impressive courses on rock and ice climbing, hiking, kayaking, ski touring, mountain biking, and more. Some classes are for kids over 14. Mikes Bikes. This small bike shop stocks all the gear you might need to take advantage of the many paths around Aviemore. It also rents and repairs bikes.
