Dundee Contemporary Arts Review
Between a 17th-century mansion and a cathedral, this strikingly modern building houses one of Britain's most exciting artistic venues. The huge gallery houses up to six shows a year by internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. There are children's workshops and meet-the-artist events throughout the year. There are also two movie theaters showing mainly independent, revival, and children's films, a craft shop, and a buzzing café-bar called Jute that's open until midnight.
