Getting Here and Around
Arriving in Sumburgh by plane offers stunning views of Sumburgh Head and its golden sands. A fairly regular bus makes the hour-long trip between the airport and Lerwick, and it's also easy to drive here if you're based in Lerwick. You can hire a car from the airport or take a taxi. Jarlshof and Scatness are both within walking distance of the terminal.
