St. Ninian's Chapel

St. Ninian's Chapel Review

The Isle of Whithorn (a small port, not an island) holds the ruins of St. Ninian's Chapel, where pilgrims who came by sea prayed before traveling inland to Whithorn Priory. Some people claim that this, and not Whithorn Priory, is the site of the Candida Casa. This 14th century structure seems to have been built on top of a much older chapel.
