Traquair House Review

Near the town of Innerleithen stands Traquair House, said to be the oldest continually occupied home in Scotland. Inside you're free to discover secret stairways, more than 3,000 books, secret passageways, and a bed used by Mary, Queen of Scots, in 1566. Outside there is a maze and extensive grounds and gardens. The 18th-century brew house still makes highly recommended ale. You may even spend the night, if you wish. Traquair Fair in August is a major event in the regional calendar.
