Peebles Hydro Review

One of the great "hydro hotels" built in the 19th century for those anxious to "take the waters," Peebles Hydro has something for everyone, and in abundance: pony rides, a putting green, and a giant chess game are just a few of the diversions. The elegant Edwardian building stands on 30 acres of land, and you're welcome to explore every inch. The public areas and most rooms have lofty ceilings and elegant, antique-reproduction furnishings. The restaurant has a Scottish menu that includes local salmon, lamb, and beef.
