Balnakeil Craft Village
Balnakeil Craft Village Review
Artisans sell pottery, leather, weavings, paintings, and more from their studios at Balnakeil Craft Village. On an unnamed road running northwest from Durness, Balnakeil is located in old military buildings and is open April through October. Hours at the studios vary, but most are open daily from 10 to 5, and even later on summer evenings. Cocoa Mountain is a must for those with a sweet tooth; its "chocolate bar" serves up world-class truffles and stunningly rich hot chocolate.
