A friendly, family-run tavern in the village of Lokev is about 4 km (2 mi) from the Lipica stud farm. Sit back and allow the proprietor to suggest the day's specialties. A good starter is jota (bean and sauerkraut soup) followed by slow-roasted pork and a green salad topped with a spoonful of beans.
