Puerta del Carmen
Puerta del Carmen Review
This bustling bar and restaurant occupies an elegant town house and exudes a whiff of tradition with its dark-wood furnishings, lofty ceilings, and tasteful color scheme. A congenial staff and a reliably good menu add to the appeal. It's popular with the business community and ladies who lunch, and there are plenty of plates to share, including goat's cheese and mango pastry. Main courses include grilled octopus kebab with paprika and soy sauce, and shoulder of pork (the house specialty). The wine list is superb. An additional plus: the kitchen doesn't close between lunch and dinner.
