Fodor's Review:
With nonpareil views over Barcelona, water sculptures everywhere but in your bed, a superb restaurant (L'Orangerie), and designer suites that are difficult to leave behind, it's easy to forgive the 20 minutes' (and euros) taxi drive from the port to reach this gem. The L-shape horizon pool is a delight, as are the spas and exercise facilities. Originally opened in 1925, this design hotel has roared back to the forefront of Barcelona's most stylish lodging. Pros: cool air and panoramic views, artistic design, horizon pool, friendly and attentive service. Con: a half-hour taxi ride from the center of town.
