Museu Egipci de Barcelona

Museu Egipci de Barcelona Review

Even though you came to Barcelona to study, presumably, Catalonia, not ancient Egypt, you might be making a mistake by skipping this major collection of art and artifacts. Housing what is probably Spain's most comprehensive exhibition on Egypt, this excellent museum takes advantage of state-of-the-art museological techniques that are nearly as interesting as the subject matter, which ranges from Egyptian mummies to exhibits on Cleopatra. Students pay €8.
