Onix Fira Review
This hotel is next to the Fira, the Barcelona convention center and other Montjuïc attractions such as the Miró Foundation and the Romanesque collection; it overlooks Barcelona's onetime-bullring-now-concert-and-shopping venue Les Arenes as well as the Parc Joan Miró. Three buildings away is the Casa de la Papallona (House of the Butterfly), one of Barcelona's most spectacular Art Nouveau facades. So location is the big draw, but the hotel's multilingual staff add appeal and simple rooms with marble floors and bright orange bedspreads are cheerful and free. The overall result is a likeable small-though-inexpensive hotel.
