Hotel Grums Review
Tucked off in the Mediterranean corner of Poble Sec on the far side of the Raval, this small but impeccable address in its first year open has much to offer. Rooms are new and bright decorated with black-and-white photography and white-laquer surfaces. Each room has its own theme—the Mediterranean, the Palau de la Música Catalana, Sagrada Familia, and so on—with brief explanations in Catalan, Spanish, and English. Room 601 is the best in the house, with a huge terrace overlooking interior gardens and patios. Families or couples with babies have their own dedicated rooms. The spa, fitness room, breakfast room, restaurant, and bar are all equally functional and cheery. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the hotel and the neighborhood.
