Extraordinarily beautiful, this traditional Basque town house one flight above the street in Bilbao's Old Quarter has charm to spare and the staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. With wooden ceiling beams, stone floors, and ethnographical and historical objects including a portable Spanish Civil War combat confessional, there is plenty to learn and explore without leaving the hotel.
