Casino José Mari
Casino José Mari Review
Built in 1818 as a fish auction house for the local fishermen's guild, this building in the center of town, with wonderful views of Mundaka's beach, is now a fine restaurant and a well-known and respected eating club. The public is welcome, and the Casino is a favorite place for lunches and sunset dinners in summer, when you can sit in the glassed-in, upper-floor porch. Very much a semisecret local haunt, the club serves excellent fish caught, more often than not, by the members themselves.
