Too many cooks may spoil the broth, but not in this family enterprise. Peru Almandoz is the head chef, but the whole family works as a team. The cuisine balances classic and contemporary elements with Urepel specialities such as cocochas de merluza (hake cheeks) or cordero asado (grilled lamb). The appetizer of finely caramelized scallops with caviar is also excellent.
