The inside of the MUSAC (Museo de Arte Contemparáneo de Castilla y León) reflects contemporary León, while the outside pays homage to the city's history with its own cluster of buildings whose exteriors are cascaded with rectangular stained glass, like its cathedral. This "Museum of the Present" brings art to the people by offering varied workshops and activities for children as well as exhibiting modern creations from all over the globe. Films and concerts also show throughout the year.
