Convento de las Carmelitas Descalzas

Convento de las Carmelitas Descalzas Review

A short walk north of San Miguel is the Menendez Pelayo University, originally a convent used in the 17th century and still called Convento de las Carmelitas Descalzas. If you've reached this far, you've climbed Cuenca and are at the highest elevation the town has to offer. You can't explore inside the convent, but it's worth the climb for beautiful views across Cuenca.
