Lo Güeno

Lo Güeno Review

This traditional tapas bar has two dining spaces: the original well-loved bar, shoehorned into a deceptively small space on a side street near Calle Larios, and a more recent expansion across the street. The original is especially appealing, with its L-shape wooden bar crammed with a choice of more than 75 tantalizing tapas, including many Logueno originals such as grilled oyster mushrooms with garlic, parsley, and goat cheese. There's an excellent selection of Rioja and Ribera wines, and the service is fast and good, despite the lack of elbow room.
