Getting Here and Around

Mérida is walkable, but a tourist train, the Tren Turístico, does a 35-minute circle past all the sites for €3, starting at the tourist office. Call ahead to book, as service is sometimes canceled without a minimum number of passengers. The Merida tourist office can arrange guided walking tours of Mérida.
