Museo de la Coria

Museo de la Coria Review

Near the Puerta de la Coria, housed in a former Franciscan convent, is the Museo de la Coria. Its exhibits on the relationship between Spain and Latin America are similar to those in the Casa Museo de Pizarro (formerly the Pizarro family home) but with an emphasis on the troops as well as other conquistadors who led missions across the water. The museum is worth visiting just for a look inside the old convent's two-tiered central cloister.
