Horseback Riding
Trastur leads wilderness trips on horseback through the remote valleys of western Asturias. The 5-to-10-day outings are designed for both beginners and experienced cowboys; mountain cabins provide shelter along the trail. Tours begin and end in Oviedo and cost about €108 a day, all-inclusive. The Centro Hípico de Turismo Ecuestre y de Aventuras / "Granjo O Castelo" conducts horseback rides along the pilgrimage routes to Santiago from O Cebreiro and Braga (Portugal). Federación Hípica Gallega has a list of all riding facilities in Galicia.
