El Crisol

El Crisol Review

Photos of famous diners greet you as you enter this secluded spot, which has been serving lobster, shrimp, spider crabs, scallops, and freshly caught fish from Pontevedra's ría for more than 70 years. If you can't make up your mind, the house sopa de pescados mixtos (mixed-fish soup) combines most of the above. It's also apt, given that the restaurant's name means "the melting pot." Save room for the tarta de queso, a rich cheesecake dessert.
