Al Grano

Al Grano Review

The minimalist decor of Al Grano helps it stand out as a hip alternative to the city's many traditional stone-walled sidrerías. Rice is the star on the menu here, whether adorned with lobster, octopus and pancetta, or in-season game. On the good-value three-course menu you can choose one of the rice dishes or the modern variants on Asturian staples such as gazpacho with goat cheese, fava beans with clams, or bonito cooked in cider. The chocolate-and-apple cake with Armagnac ice cream and the turrón (nougat) mousse are indulgent conclusions to the evening.
