Le Grand Chalet Review
A 10-minute walk from the center of Gstaad, The hilltop Grand Chalet commands a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains and village below. The spacious, comfortable rooms exude an informal elegance, with pale wood furnishings and fresh white curtains throughout. An open central fireplace separates the cozy lounge from the popular La Bagatelle, a restaurant favored for its nouvelle Swiss and French cuisine. Try the exquisite sea bass in bread pastry, some marvelous local cheeses, or a bottle off the extensive wine list. Walking trails depart from the hotel's doorstep, and the hotel shuttles guests to ski lifts and to the train station.
