This gorgeously equipped bed-and-breakfast—perhaps the nicest in all of Ticino—has five chic rooms with burnished hardwood floors and tasteful contemporary furnishings. The reason many people make their way here is for the restaurant—inventive, carefully prepared Italian cuisine is served in the stylish café, formal dining room, or, weather permitting, on the large outdoor terrace. Soak up the sunshine while dining on the salmon tartare, bacon-wrapped prawns, grilled scallops with sweet and sour ginger, or chicken saltimbocca with Marsala sauce. Many ingredients are organic and locally grown. The hotel is located at the Ponte Brolla stop on the Centovalli train line.
