Entering Switzerland, a visitor who is 17 years or older may bring in 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco; 2 liters of alcohol up to 15 proof and 1 liter over 15 proof. Visitors over 17 may bring gifts valued at up to 300 SF duty-free. Medicine, such as insulin, is allowed for personal use only.
