Lance Armstrong devotees and other cycling enthusiasts will find the Centre Mondial du Cyclisme (World Cycling Center) a fascinating stop. Headquarters of the UCI, cycling's international sports federation, the contemporary silver-tone facility has an exhibition hall, athlete training facility, and indoor velodrome -- all state-of-the-art and used by world-class competitors. The track is open to the public in the off-season, and guided tours can be arranged. Both require advance booking.
