Bus Travel
A useful network of postbus routes covers the region if you want connections to outlying villages and hamlets. Throughout the Riviera, bus service is provided by VMCV (Vevey-Montreux-Chillon-Villeneuve). The Line 1 trolley bus parallels the lakefront and is the most heavily used. Hotel guests receive a Riviera Card that allows gratis rides on buses and reduced fares on other modes of transportation.
