Reputedly "the most expensive street in the world"—thanks to all of its extravagantly priced jewelry shops—Zürich's principal boulevard offers luxury shopping and hulking department stores, whereas much shifting and hoarding of the world's wealth takes place discreetly within the banks' walls. You can enjoy your window shopping here in relative peace: the only vehicles allowed are the municipal trams.
