Shiluh
Shiluh Review
The Syriac Christians have a long tradition of wine making, but Shiluh is the region's first professional winery. Shiluh has a shop in the center of Midyat, but the winery is 7 km (4 mi) from Midyat on the road to Mor Gabriel, where an undeground restaurant and tasting room are carved out of the hillside. Note that the unusual, strong flavor of the red wine may not to be to everyone's taste.
