The best budget deal in Bergama occupies two restored 19th-century Greek houses in the heart of the old town and offers clean, wood-floored rooms (some with private sitting areas and balconies), a generous breakfast buffet, do-it-yourself laundry facilities, and a book exchange. The friendly proprietor, Ersin, and his wife, a teacher at a nearby school, also freely dispense travel advice.
