Paragliding

Paragliding is a busy industry in Ölüdeniz and a major spectator sport on the beaches; experienced pilots can soar aloft for up to five hours in near-ideal conditions in the summer. The launch point is about 1,700 yards up Mt. Baba, some 20 km (13 mi) by forest tracks from Ölüdeniz—the tour operators drive you up from town. Tourists flying tandem (it will cost around $120) with a pilot generally stay up for 30 to 40 minutes before landing gently on the beach.
