Beach House Hotel Review

If you want a charmed few days on the Side seafront, this great-value hotel is the place to stay. The rooms are modest and not all have air-conditioning, but the ceiling fans create a breeze. This is where Rudolph Nureyev and Simone de Beauvoir once stayed. The hotel is built on the grounds of a Byzantine villa, whose ruins are used for a garden with lawns and the tiniest of pools. Across the quiet street there are deck chairs and umbrellas for guests on the sand. The restaurant overlooks the sea on the east side of the peninsula, southeast of theater.
