This addition to the cluster of restaurants near the Lycian tomb has earned a reputation for the quality of its food. Run by a German-Turkish couple, it offers a mix of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes. They take great pride in their warm starters, such as the delcicous paçanga börek, a pastry filled with cheese and dried meat, and the emücver, deep-fried eggplant—all of which are cooked fresh rather than reheated as at most other restaurants. For main courses there are the usual range of fish, köfte, lamb, chicken, and steak, and the dessert menu is wide and tempting, including the popular apple pancakes.
