Grand Kaptan Hotel Review
For dependable service and facilities, this seafront hotel, 4 km (2 mi) east of town, is the grandest in Alanya. It's frequented by international tour groups as well as visiting Turkish executives, and the main restaurant is geared toward large numbers of people. The outdoor pool is large and has a swim-up bar. A tunnel takes visitors under the highway to a beach where a barbecue restaurant operates in summer. The beach lacks natural shade—but there are plenty of beach and water sports to occupy guests, from volleyball to jet skiing, windsurfing, and waterskiing. The rooms are a bit gloomy, and a few don't have private bath. A shuttle operates between the hotel and the town center nine times a day.
