Castle Cottage Review
Close to Harlech's mighty castle, this friendly "restaurant with rooms" is a wonderful find. The emphasis is on the exceptional cuisine of chef-proprietor Glyn Roberts, who uses ingredients from lobster to lamb to create imaginative, beautifully presented contemporary dishes. There's a fixed-price dinner menu (£39.50). There are three spacious, modern rooms in the main house and four more in the annex, a 16th-century coaching inn.
