  Aberconwy House Review

  We absolutely love this B&B! We have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout England, Ireland, Scotland, & Wales. This is by far the best and most enjoyable place we have stayed throughout all our travels. It is for that reason that we've just returned from our second stay at the Aberconwy House. We stayed here in May 2008 and again in July 2010. Being a family of four with two young daughters, both times we reserved the family room (Room 8). First, the home is just lovely. There is plenty of parking space for guests and the landscape is beautifully decorated and always well maintained. There are several B&B's in the immediate area and all fit in nicely together and seem to do a great job of complimenting each other. The family room we reserved was perfect for us. It is extremely large with plenty of room for a full family. The room is immaculate and well laid out. We enjoyed an extremely comfortable king size bed and the kids enjoyed their own beds as well. The room included an assortment of amenities including a comfortable sofa, table, tons of family games, tea, snacks, and more. The room is part of the main house but has it's own entrance door which is very nice as well for coming and going. There is also a set of table and chairs just outside the door which we found to be quite enjoyable. We sat outside most evenings as the sun went down enjoying family games, snacks, and beverages together.
  
  The breakfast room is equally as impressive with much care and thought placed into making breakfast as enjoyable as possible. There is always enjoyable music playing softly in the background, a great continental selection of food laid out, and of course, a breakfast menu to die for. All the food is excellent with everything being cooked and presented perfectly. We really enjoyed the presentation and quality of the smoked salmon and eggs. It is a must!
  
  The house is perfectly located just out of town with a 5-10 minute walk into the village. The walk takes you straight through a beautiful rustic sheep farm with plenty of animals to keep you entertained along the way. Once you walk the path through the pastures, you cross a lovely bridge with great views of the river. The bridge leads you over to the local train station and the back entrance into the village. There is an old church and graveyard near the station which is just beautiful and we always enjoy a quiet stroll through the church grounds. Definitely a peaceful and beautiful place. As for the town and the surrounding areas, it has plenty to offer in terms of shopping, restaurants, pubs, hiking, river walks, waterfalls, ancient burial tombs, etc. Plenty to keep you busy.
  
  We look back very fondly on our two visits to the Aberconwy House and hope to go back again in the future. It is the highlight of the vacation for our girls which is saying a lot when you consider all the wonderful places we saw along the way. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it. We promise you will enjoy it as much as we did!!!!
