On a hill a few blocks from the beach, this hotel has rooms with ocean views. (They're on the top floor, so reserve one in advance.) True to its name, the rooms are scattered around a garden lush with bright red ginger flowers and populated by stone sculptures of indigenous peoples. Teak paneling and furniture, stained-glass pictorial panels, and terraces with hammocks give this hotel style as well as comfort. There's no formal breakfast, but fresh fruit and coffee are laid out in the reception area each morning.
