By Boat & Ferry

Passenger-only ferries and speedboats depart from the dock at Playa del Carmen for the 45-minute trip to the main pier in Cozumel. They leave daily, approximately every hour on the hour between 6 AM and 11 PM, with no ferries at 7 AM or 2 PM. Return service to Playa runs every hour on the hour between 5 AM and 10 PM, with no ferries at 6 or 11 AM and 2 PM. Call ahead, as the schedule changes often.
